JUBILEE PLANS
Jubilee plans are well in hand for celebrations for everyone on Monday June 4. Lunch for children will be provided by the village and set up in the road outside The Bell. It is hoped that all villagers will come to The Green either bringing their own lunch, for themselves or to share or eating at The Bell which will be offering their usual lunchtime menu. Transport within the village to and from The Green is available for anyone who would be unable to come without a lift . Please let me know on 208913. Evening celebrations will include refreshments, dancing and a screen to watch the concert taking place at Buckingham Palace. The Church Bells will be rung during the candlelit procession down to the Church at 9.30 for the lighting of the beacon.

VILLAGE HALL QUIZ – Saturday June 30
If you missed the Florence Nightingale Quiz recently or perhaps took part and have had your appetite whetted for another one, you may be interested in coming to the next quiz to be held in Chearsley village hall, on Saturday June 30, organized by the Village Hall committee. More details will be available nearer the time.

PLANNING FORUM PROGRESS
The fifth meeting was held in the Village Hall on Monday April 30. Although progress by the various topic groups is being made, more involvement from villagers is vital for the eventual Plan to reflect the village’s hopes for the future of Chearsley. To this end, questionnaires may be sent out, another door drop to families who have not yet responded and an information table on The Green on Jubilee day Monday June 4 will be arranged.
