Christian Aid Big Brekkie at St Nicholas Church.
Come and enjoy a BBQ breakfast of sausage or bacon roll at the church this Sunday May 13 from 9.30 to 10.30am in support of the Christian Aid Big Brekkie. This is in place of Morning Celebration. There will be hymns and prayers at the end of breakfast at 10.30am. “Soul Spark” will be open in the church, so an opportunity to take a look at this. Soul Spark is on show from May 12 to 20th May.

Celebrating 50 years of Chuf on Saturday May 19 at Chearsley Village Hall.
Come and help celebrate 5 decades of Chuf Preschool at this all day Fest. For the children from 3pm to 6.30pm there will be games, talent workshops, music and dance performances (3 to 16 year olds), Prince and Princess costume and face painting for this special Royal Day plus fun with Musical Mayhem. Tickets are £5 per child with free entry for adults. From 6.30pm until 10.30pm Chuf is presenting a Golden Evening with guest appearance from Tony Hadley who will be performing an acoustic set, plus local band and disco. Tickets for this are £15 per adult. There will be food vans and refreshments available and a licensed bar showing the FA Cup Final – something for the whole family. Qi Gong in Chearsley
This class has now started in the village hall, but it is not too late to join and newcomers of all ages and levels of fitness are very welcome. Ben, the Master is teaching the forms (sequences) by instructing the class at each stage, so there is no problem in joining now. Give it a try.
